Gaps diet put me in direction to recovery

Summary
After ME/CFS following a Levaquin reaction, started the GAPS elimination diet plus VSL#3 probiotic while mostly bedbound and began "improving slowly but surely" within two weeks. Reached part-time work by two years in, and by five years post-diet was "much better," still part-time with "much reduced crashes." She frames the diet/supplements as her only ongoing treatment and reports a relapse in the past year, so the gain required continued strict adherence rather than being a permanent cure.
