Summary
Combined a dedicated FND (functional neurological disorder) treatment program, which she says completely resolved symptoms like one-sided paralysis and speech and walking difficulties with no relapse, with neck physiotherapy that stopped seven years of severe migraines entirely, mitochondrial-support supplements and an antioxidant-rich diet, and retrained breathing from shallow to deep belly breathing. Had two years of severe ME/CFS (2018-2020) on top of adolescent EBV and a longer decline from her mid-30s, becoming housebound and at times too weak to lift her arm to brush her teeth. Says her fatigue suddenly faded away at the end of 2020, like a switch had flicked, followed by three years of rehabilitation for deconditioning. She says she is not 100% certain but has enough confidence the recovery will last, and now works only part-time, structuring her life around ongoing sensory and health needs.
