Summary
Irene, a college teacher, developed severe ME/CFS with active EBV and HHV-6 infections after 2001, with extreme fatigue, migraines, joint pain and memory loss. Over more than a decade she combined Valtrex and Valcyte, Babesia treatment, atenolol, complete rest and stress reduction under Dr Lerner's care. By 2012 she was teaching a full course load again, but still cannot exercise vigorously.
