BrightCandle went from a self-rated 5% to 60% function (roughly severe to mild) within 25 days of starting "Joshua's HASD protocol v3.2," and in a later update reported reaching 80-85% on the Hummingbird scale, able to do 1.5 hours of resistance training and an hour's walk with normal sleep and better memory. He was explicit that the protocol is "a treatment, not a cure" requiring ongoing adherence, with constipation the main symptom still unresolved.
