Summary
Olmesartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker taken as part of a Marshall Protocol approach; he does not give his own exact dose, though he notes a severe ME/CFS patient he knew benefited on as little as 20mg daily within a few months. He reports the drug reduced his inflammation, brain fog, pain and fatigue, calling it "a positive." Within about two weeks he also developed heavy Herxheimer-type reactions and extreme light sensitivity, which he describes as "just as debilitating" as the benefit. He had noticed that short courses of unrelated antibiotics provoked strong Herx reactions in him, which is what led him to suspect a chronic bacterial driver and try olmesartan. No relapse after stopping is mentioned, and he does not say whether he continued the drug long-term.
