Summary
Ill for fifteen years and bedbound as recently as 2016, this patient self-injected the GDF11 protein subcutaneously every other day alongside an NMN supplement. After about two months he reported feeling one hundred per cent cured, with dramatic resolution of brain fog and sensory problems as well as physical energy. Some headaches, low fevers and a need for naps persisted, and he believed stopping risked relapse, so he continued a reduced maintenance dose.
