Summary
After about 10 years of suboptimal methylation function, he actually stopped the Simplified Methylation Protocol and switched to low-dose niacin, B1/B2, P5P and minerals, later adding NA-Tyrosine. Within 3 months he was "finally feeling 'my normal' again," with reduced brain fog and better morning energy and mental clarity, especially after adding NA-Tyrosine. He maintained the improvement on an ongoing lower-dose niacin regimen — notably, the benefit came from discontinuing rather than pursuing the standard methylation protocol.
