Here's an interesting result from my experience with common EBV treatments
- Condition
- ME/CFS
- At worst
- Not stated
- Ill for
- 2 years
- Published
- May 2024
Summary
Raised Valtrex from 3g to 4g daily and added short courses of oil of oregano, high-dose monolaurin and high-dose vitamin C, after stress reactivated EBV two years earlier and caused "pure emotional flatness" and neurological problems on top of CFS. Hedges the outcome as "I'd say my ability to feel emotions is improved by at least 50%," alongside reduced sinus inflammation, better motivation and being able to "process things like a normal person, for now." Explicitly notes "I can't say a lot of my other symptoms have improved," and qualifies the gain as holding only "for now."
What they credit
Credits Antivirals, Supplements, Valtrex / valacyclovir.
