Summary
Alexandra, a 26-year-old nurse when she first fell ill after flu, recovered initially but then relapsed severely for seven years, becoming mostly home- and bed-bound. She tried amitriptyline, which eventually made things worse, and used the mind-body practice Autogenics alongside Dr Teitelbaum's hormonal protocol. She states a low-carbohydrate, high-fat Paleo-type diet made the big difference, and is described as fully recovered, now able to canoe and camp.
