Lauri underwent a nine-day course of EBOO/F (extracorporeal blood oxygenation, ozonation and filtration) combined with a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, high-dose IV vitamin C, and high-potency vitamin IV therapy, then returned for a second nine-day course after Thanksgiving. She had been unable to regain her strength or brain function for about a year after a bout of COVID pneumonia in December 2020. Within seven days of starting treatment her family said "my light was back on," and she regained her sense of smell and taste and resumed hosting a 12-person Thanksgiving dinner and other normal activities. That she needed a second nine-day round suggests the benefit required a repeat course rather than holding after a single treatment.
