KDM - success of fixing the gut

Condition
ME/CFS
At worst
Moderate (mostly housebound)
Ill for
Not stated
Published
Dec 2017

Summary

Cycled through antibiotics and probiotics for gut dysbiosis; after about three months she went "from moderate to mild," with IBS "almost non-existent," but overexertion caused a relapse and she now needs ongoing rifaximin to control bloating ("when I start rifaximine, it's instantly gone"). As of posting she felt "a lot better again, but not like before," so gains are partial and require active maintenance.
