Summary
Took low-dose aripiprazole and had every symptom domain - cognition, PEM, energy and sleep - improve dramatically within a short period, though no dose is given. The benefit lasted about two months and then disappeared completely, returning him to his old baseline. Taking a full year off the drug did not restore its effect when he retried it. He argues this pattern of losing response after a couple of months is common and is not reflected in the aripiprazole research, and says he raised it directly with one of the researchers, who disputed that it happens.
