Summary
After more than a decade of ME/CFS with chronic kidney/adrenal pain and stimulant intolerance, did EMDR therapy followed by about two years of Internal Family Systems (IFS) work with a former Buddhist monk. Reports kidney pain subsiding for the first time in years and clearing from other areas of the body, and describes overcoming PEM enough to resume running -- up to 5km by mid-2020 at improving paces. Hedges that he has "beaten PEM" only provisionally: "it will be a while before I can say I'm past it for good."
