Summary
After 35-plus years of symptoms, including 15 years of joint/back pain and fatigue she likened to ankylosing spondylitis and feeling "half dead with pain and fatigue" going in, took azithromycin 500mg/day for bronchitis and found her joint and back pain "totally gone" within 10 days, only for it to return about 10 days after stopping. She resumed a pulsed regimen (azithromycin 250mg twice daily, 3-4 days a week, plus daily doxycycline) for about four months, reaching stretches of "no muscle pain, no fatigue" with full working days. She discontinued after four months due to accumulating side effects, and by her final post symptoms had returned roughly six weeks after stopping.
