Alternates between Valcyte and either Famvir or Valtrex, cycling between antivirals, for ME/CFS complicated by recurrent bacterial and viral infections from immune dysfunction. On a rough 1-10 disability scale, says he has gone from a 3 to an 8, now varying between 6 and 8. Explicitly notes this is not 100% recovery by Dr. Lerner's own definition, and that he needs to keep cycling between the different antivirals on an ongoing basis to maintain the improvement.
