Summary
Marvin, a retired clinical psychologist, took low-dose Abilify (0.5 mg) combined with low-dose naltrexone (2.5 mg) from a compounding pharmacy after 11 years of fatigue, post-exertional malaise, cognitive problems, and unrefreshing sleep. The combination brought him to about 80% health and a normal lifestyle for a "magical" two-month stretch. A followup found the effectiveness of both drugs wore off over time and he declined afterward, though his PEM improvement specifically did persist even as the rest of the gains faded.
