- Ill for
- 8 months
- Published

Summary
This patient received a stellate ganglion block (SGB) - injections on both sides of the neck given over two days, each session about 30 minutes - after eight months of post-COVID loss of smell and taste, severe fatigue, cognitive problems, sleep trouble and an elevated heart rate that had cost her her full-time job. Her symptoms improved immediately: smell and taste returned, she could drive again, her cognition improved dramatically, and she resumed longer working hours. Two months later, the improvements had held.
