Summary
Attended a one-on-one Lightning Process course over four days (22-25 April 2014) in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, England, with trainer Heather Thomas, after her mother had already tried acupuncture, natural pills, syrups, oils, restricted diets and herbs with no effect. She had fallen ill at 14 in autumn 2013 with Lyme disease and concurrent meningitis, treated with about two weeks of daily antibiotic injections at Tønsberg Hospital, and spent roughly eight months severely ill and largely bedbound in a darkened, sound-muffled room, unable to walk more than a step, with facial and leg paralysis, electric-shock sensations and a total eight-month loss of taste. Within the first day of the course her legs felt lighter and her sense of taste returned; by day three she was walking two to three times her previous speed and told her mother, "Mammi, I can walk! And I'm not even the slightest bit tired!" By the time of the story, four years on, she was living independently in Helsingborg, Sweden, saying she could "still feel the colour" of the visualisation she used during the course. No relapse or ongoing symptoms are reported, and no ongoing LP practice is mentioned as still needed.
