Her parents credit a Lightning Process course taken in January, after preparing with Live Landmark's book, with their daughter's recovery from severe ME, following an earlier four-week stay at the Catosenteret rehabilitation centre for children and adolescents in spring 2019. She had been ill for about three years from age 10, at her worst unable to walk or sit upright, intolerant of household sounds, down to 28 kilos after she stopped eating, and expressing suicidal thoughts, while GPs, private blood tests, high-dose antibiotics and psychologists had not helped. Her parents call the LP course "a revelation," saying "Live puts into words the things we have spent three years figuring out." They describe her as back in full-time school with excellent results and a normal social life, writing that "ME is a closed chapter in her life." They mention continued contact with the Lightning Process instructor for follow-up conversations about school and social adjustment, but no relapse.
