Summary
Imunovir (inosine pranobex), first attempted during a severe ME/CFS crash spanning 2009 to 2011. She was severely ill, in the midst of that crash, when she tried the drug. She had to stop after three weeks because it made her considerably sicker, with no benefit reported from that course. She later tried Imunovir again on a different, biweekly schedule after six years of Ampligen treatment and described that later period as one of continued improvement, though credit there is entangled with the ongoing Ampligen rather than clearly attributable to Imunovir alone. Taken on its own during the 2009-2011 crash, the treatment produced clear harm and no benefit, and was discontinued.
