Summary
Science journalist Julie Rehmeyer developed ME/CFS gradually from around 2006 and became mostly bedbound. A ten-day trip to Death Valley without her belongings led her to suspect mold sensitivity, and she recovered substantially through rigorous mold avoidance, moving to a straw-bale house in New Mexico, plus sauna, juicing and coffee enemas. She is now able to exercise vigorously and work, described as almost recovered.
