Summary
Took a three-day Lightning Process course at home in Norway at the end of May 2008, taught by two LP trainers, with her husband supporting her through it. She had been severely ill with ME/CFS for about nine years, the last two of them bedridden in a darkened room, unable to read, watch TV or tolerate conversation beyond a few minutes, spoon-fed and dependent on home care three to four times a day, and briefly placed in a nursing home. Within the three days she moved from bed to living room to walking outside and visiting her daughter, and within the first week she was eating at the table, showering, reading, watching TV and receiving visitors, saying "In short, I have a life!" Ten years later, at 75, she was training strength and fitness at a gym three times a week and remained active hiking, skiing and gardening. No relapse is reported, though she says two years in bed took a physical toll that required dedicated work to rebuild her body.
