Summary
She recovered through functional medicine (addressing mold exposure, liver toxicity and nutrient depletion), psychotherapy, physiotherapy, and a daily body-scan meditation practiced three times a day, later training as a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach. She fell ill at age 15 with extreme fatigue, severe abdominal and leg pain, and immune dysfunction, was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and ME/CFS, and was ill for 10 years before recovering. She says she can now "work full-time and dance salsa without feeling any pain," sing professionally, and run her online business while living in Cusco, Peru. She attributes her recovery partly to relocating to Peru's dry, high-altitude climate and a calmer lifestyle alongside the medical treatment. The story gives no mention of relapse, but describes an ongoing strict sleep schedule and continued body-scan meditation as part of her maintained routine.
