Summary
With longstanding physical signs of hypothyroidism (no outer eyebrows, absent nail half-moons, swollen indented tongue, central weight gain, moon face - self-described as "the poster child for hypothyroidism for many years"), she started natural desiccated thyroid at 60mg/day. She "felt great" the first day and for about a week, but that dose then caused sleep disruption and nervous-system sensitization, so she cut back to 30mg/day, saying she will "have to play with the dosage" - an initial lift that faded and required adjustment.
