Summary
Took a three-day online Lightning Process course over Zoom, at a cost of £800, after her GP suspected ME/CFS and suggested she might need a wheelchair, and then did the course's mental exercises "around 100 times a day for the first four months." Her Long COVID escalated from an April 2020 infection to being effectively bedbound within a few months, unable to stand long enough to brush her teeth, sleeping around 18 hours a day and suffering tinnitus, dizziness and brain fog. She walked to the postbox on day one of the course and says she is now "back to myself – fun with family and friends, working in a full-time job that I love" as a secondary school teacher. She says she still gets "odd symptoms, such as fatigue, pain in the centre of my chest...or brain fog" and continues to use the Lightning Process exercises "in just a few seconds" whenever needed, alongside a lingering fear of relapse even after six months back at full-time work.
