Summary
L-arginine, dose and duration unspecified, initially produced a big increase in energy, decreased inflammation and pain, and what the poster called extreme mental focus. This ME/CFS patient, for whom brain fog was one of the most troubling symptoms, then crashed hard after the initial improvement. They suspected the crash was caused by Epstein-Barr virus becoming uncontrolled rather than by the arginine itself. No further follow-up after the crash is given, so whether they resumed or abandoned arginine afterward is unstated.
What they credit
Credits Carnitine, BCAA, amino acids, Nitric-oxide boosters (beetroot, arginine, citrulline).
